Lee's latest outing was with the wife to Shabs on Tavistock Street, Bedford. Lee was immediately attracted to the 50% off food sign outside the restaurant!
Popodoms and some quality chutneys to start, mango chutney, red onion, onion salad and a thick mint sauce.
For Starters, Lee had a favourite vegetable chat on puree with green chilli and salad whilst Emma had Shimla Mirch (stuffed pepper).
For mains Lee went veg balti madras with cheese nan, sag paneer and a portion of chips! Emma going for lamb balti and a plain nan.
Overall, very good, with the food having some spice. Lee had a little take away for his lunch and the bill came to less than twenty quid!
