Cinnamon Club, London (29th November 2012)

Lee's latest outing was to the MP's favourite the Cinnamon Club in Westminster.

Proceedings started with a Cobra and canapé of lentil balls with saffron mayonnaise.

Starter of deep fried baby corn and onion in a spicy coating with salad and more saffron mayo. Second starter of baby aubergine with a spicy cashew topping served on a spicy lentil soup.

Main was a chickpea kofta served on a bed of spicy sauce accompanied with steamed rice, a selection of nan breads, daal and fried mushroom and spinach.

For desert, a cardamon creme brûlée and an espresso (no after 8's though ....)

A lovely experience, pleasant surroundings, good quality food and as it was a work thing, free of charge.
