Simon's solo outing, the first in 2013, took him to a hidden away curry house in Luton, Khans, with a few work colleagues, recommneded by Asif.
Simon went for panneer shashlik, which was a bit of a disappointment, quite bland and lacking in a lot of flavour. Mains followed, recommended by Asif's wife, Murgh Lahori Karahi, a chicken dish which had a rich dry spicy sauce. Sauce was a medium heat and very tasty, served with a Nan.
Desert followed - a big piece of chocolate cake which Simon and Asia shared as it was too big for both.
All in all not a bad restaurant, starter disappointing but mains very full of flavour.
